How we approach plastics:

Refuse: to buy packaging with plastic, especially the clear film that is not even recyclable

Reduce: the amount of plastics you buy even if they are recyclable

Reuse: the plastics you buy as much as possible

Recycle: as a last resort if you had to buy it and can’t use it any further

Rot: focus on purchasing things that are capable of rot


How we approach environmental issues:

Resilience: the ability to recover quickly from difficulties

Resolution: the action of solving a problem, dispute, or contentious matter

Redundancy: the inclusion of extra components that are not strictly necessary to functioning, in case of failure in other components

Regenerative: bring new and more vigorous life to (an area or institution or process)

Revive: regain life or strength, improve the position or condition of (an area or thing or process)

Restorative: the ability to restore health, strength, or a feeling of wellbeing

Rehabilitative: return to its former condition
